Hugo Vs Lino keeps DNA Inc’s winning streak alive!

Hugo vs Lino, the third among the High-Definition films from DNA Inc won the “Best Animation Film” award at THE NATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-TEN MINUTES TO FAME’ organized by IMT Nagpur in association with Ten Motion Arts and Cyrus Dastur’s Shamiana on 15th and 16th October, 2010.

All entries for the awards at the festival were viewed by a preview committee and among the top 20 films that were screened on 15th and 16th of October 2010 to the judging committee and a packed audience in the theatre of IMT Nagpur, Hugo Vs Lino was declared the winner in the Animation category.

The‘Best Animation Film’ Award for Hugo Vs Lino comes with a cash prize, a citation and a very special honour: Hugo Vs Lino will be screened in theatres of Shamiana’s chapters across India at Mumbai, Pune, Delhi , Ahmedabad, Baroda and Goa.

Once again DNA Inc is in the news by winning all the awards in the Animation category at the SHORT AND DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL OF HYDERABAD held at Ravindra Bharati in Hyderabad. The event, organised in association with Andhra Pradesh State Film Television and Theatre Development Corporation Limited saw over hundred-plus entries in  various categories from different parts of the country. The film HUGO vs LINO won the BEST ANIMATION FILM AWARD while FEEL THE PUNCH won the BEST DIRECTOR(ANIMATION) JURY AWARD.

HUGO Vs LINO by DNA INC BATCH II

A lopsided fight between two consenting unequals. An arena where the rules of fair play aren’t applicable. The sheer audacity of a frail android to challenge the herculean might of a formidable hulk. Pride, trickery, frustration and vengeance are all at play as the battleground turns murky. Hugo, a hulk with rippling muscles all over his frame responds to Lino’s open invitation in a newspaper advertisement to beat him in an arm-wrestling bout. The booty: One million dollars in cash. Hugo is gung-ho about winning hands down as Lino is not even half his size. Post the bout, Hugo goes berserk, Lino’s not impressed and all hell breaks loose. Watch this exhilarating fiction plot.
